  • INTRODUCTION OF MERCHANT NAVY

    Merchant Navy is the fleet of merchant vessels that are registered, which varies in capacity. Seafarers on merchant vessels, hold various military-like ranks and responsibilities. 95 per cent of the country's trade by volume and 70 per cent by value is moved through maritime transport. With 27,000 officers and 55,000 ratings (deck-hands) currently employed on Indian and foreign vessels, the demand for Indian seafarers worldwide is surging rapidly.

  • 3> QUESTION & ANSWER SESSION

    Allowing the students to ask questions after the presentation if they have any queries regarding the course, training, placement, bank loan etc. So, the students are less likely to leave the presentation with misconceptions about the career.
  • 4> WRITTEN TEST (1 HOUR)

    Written Test is one of the integral components in the entire selection process. The areas normally covered in the test are Technical Knowledge, Quantitative ability, Reasoning, Verbal Ability and Basic Skills. This test is well structured and the kind of questions that are asked or the topics that are tested depends entirely on the stream/branch of the applicant. Each test paper has its own pattern according to stream/branch of the applicant.
  • 5> PERSONAL INTERVIEW

    The interview is conducted to test candidate's knowledge of self, his/her career plans, hobbies, interests, achievements, knowledge about his/her specialization etc. Questions can be drawn from any area. The Interview is conducted to test the interpersonal, including communication, skills of candidates. It also tests a candidate's knowledge and his/her ability to link the facts.
  • 6> MEDICAL TEST (AS PER GOVT. NORMS)

    The Merchant Shipping (Medical Examinations) Regulations make it a legal requirement for any seafarer, as defined in the regulations, to hold a valid certificate attesting to their medical fitness for the work for which they are employed.
  • CONFIRMATION OF SELECTION

    The applicant or the student must clear all the above formalities and also have to submit all the documents to us. We will then check all the submitted documents. And if the application has been successful. Then we will issue Offer letter. The end of the process is Acceptance of Offer Letter, once student has received the offer letter and accept all required information, first installment is going to pay then student have to sign an acceptance or offer letter in order to get Conformation of Enrolment (COE).
